The Federal Court found Star Plus and a related business SPG(SA) Pty Ltd had undertaken a “sophisticated and well-planned scheme” to mislead consumers by posting fake reviews of their services on websites. The companies also submitted fake proof of purchase documents to Product Review and Yellow Pages. The Commissioner for Consumer Affairs has fined the companies a total of $125,000 for the breaches.

The fact of the matter is that an average homeowner or amateur DIY fan does not even know how to picture the wiring and all those circuits, not to speak of finding and fixing the faulty property with a bang. Moreover, as long as your home is with an accurately working electrical system, you can feel comfortable with the electricity supply, and when it is not working the way it should, you cannot enjoy your electrical appliances.
