The Launch of the Pokemon Store in the UK
Pokemon Store Uk
The Pokemon Company has launched an online store in the UK. The website offers Pokemon-themed clothing, toys and merch – including items that have sold out elsewhere, like the Snom knitted jumper. The site will charge a flat shipping fee of PS5 per order.
Pokemon Store Uk is launching alongside the 2022 Pokemon World Championships and will be open to the public for five days, beginning on 14th April until 16th April. The Pokemon Company is hosting the pop-up shop at ExCeL London, and you can reserve timeslots to enter by booking through the Pokemon website.
You’ll be able to try out the Pokemon Sword and Shield demo in the shop, too!
In a tweet, the Pokemon Company announced that it will be holding a special demo area during the store’s opening weekend. Visitors will be able to play the game in an area that looks a lot like the Galar region.
You’ll also find a range of merchandise, such as t-shirts and pins, that will be exclusive to the store. If you want to add to your Pokemon collection, check out the store’s curated selection of Pokemon TCG expansions and individual cards from third-party sellers.
It’s a great place to get your hands on the latest Pokemon TCG sets, with many containing Sword and Shield-era characters – from Beefeater Pikachu and Roserade to Slowpoke and Sirfetch’d. Plus, the site has an extensive range of Pokémon TCG booster and Elite Trainer boxes available for purchase.
Getting your hands on the latest Pokemon TCG expansions has never been easier, thanks to the official Pokemon Store UK’s wide range of releases. You’ll find all of the new sets released in the Sword and Shield era, as well as all of the TCG’s latest expansions from previous years.
The online store will also stock a wide variety of merch for Pokemon Go, including a giant Pikachu plush that was only available at a preview event in Westfield Shepherd’s Bush earlier this year. You’ll also find a large range of Sword and Shield starters, including Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble.
While the site is currently a “beta,” it does state that more products will be coming to the Pokemon Center in the future. We’re looking forward to seeing the next generation of merch in the store.
As well as offering a wide range of Pokemon merch, the Pokemon Store UK will also host Pokemon Go events and tournaments. The company has confirmed that the 2020 Pokemon World Championships will take place in Britain, and they will include competitive tournaments for the main video game series as well as the Trading Card Game and Pokken Tournament.
In 2020, the Pokemon Company will be releasing a major Sword and Shield update to the games. The update will see the introduction of a new region called Galar, a location that is based on England. You can get an early look at Galar and other regions on the Pokemon Sword and Shield demo, which is now being played at the Pokemon Center in London.
