The Abrasive Wheels Training course is perfect for anyone whose job requires them to use equipment like petrol cut off saws (Stihl, Makita etc), battery and electrical powered grinders, mitre saws and circular saws. These pieces of equipment are vital to many aspects of construction work, but they can be extremely dangerous if not handled correctly and with the right precautions in place. By completing this course, delegates will learn the necessary safety precautions to take when using abrasive wheels and how to correctly mount and change these wheels.
Abrasive Wheels Training is delivered through an interactive online learning experience that is available from any internet connected device, such as a computer, tablet or mobile phone. Each module contains information, audio and video content that is designed to be engaging and easy to understand. The eLearning course also includes an assessment at the end that is marked automatically and a certificate is provided on completion.
This Abrasive Wheels Training course is endorsed by both IOSH and the CIEH so it can be used as part of your workplace health and safety training programme to help protect your employees’ safety. On successful completion of this course, delegates will receive a quality assured certificate through the post that can be used to provide evidence for compliance audits and site inspections. The certificate has no expiry date but it is recommended that a refresher course is completed every 3 years to ensure knowledge is kept up-to-date.
